My wife asked me for an MP3 player for Christmas. I had a friend of my wife, show me her bew MP3 player and it seems awsome. I want to get her something that will last and has more than just the music part to it.
The best option to my knowledge is the
Sandisk Sansa 4GB MP3 Player
the (E260) or the (MX4 E260)
The description is the same for both, but there is a 30 dollar difference between both?

is the connection speed worth the extra 30 bucks?
I do know this much, i will not buy an IPOD, not enough features and no replacable batteries…..

As long as you have a 2.0 USB port to your computer instead of the old 1.0 or 1.1 port, transfers will be fast. You can transfer around 20GBs in under 10mins. with the old ports it will take hours to transfer that much. That is known as the ipod nano killer. I plan to get that flash player. read the reviews at amazon’s website and video.google and youtube’s website has video of the sandisk sansa mp3 players. all around, I’ll say that is the best mp3 player under 10GBs to own. I’ve done alot of research on mp3 players. I own a creative zen vision m but i want a flash base player. flash is faster then hard drive players. they have the 4gb,6gb and 8gb, with an extra micro sd card (2gb) can expand it more. Just type Sandisk Sansa into google and youtubes search for video engine and enjoy!

Thanks Terrence, yha, i think this would be the best choice as well, did alot of reaseach over the weekend. I think she will like it. (and i may be able to borrow it from time to time, we’ll see)

It’s been two years since you deleted those avatar threads and I’m still pissed at you. People were friends on that thread for over a year! We had no way of finding each other after you closed them. You didn’t even give us warning that they were going to end! I am close friends with a few of them who I exchanged contacts with before the close (thank God), but some people are gone for good.
